A Stake agent wrote October 6 twice. Then he said there was nothing else

A Stake.com agent wrote October 6 twice in a single reply. Once, ab.stake.ca was expected. Once, everyone else was told to upload proof of address. Then he said there were no further updates.

October 6, twice

At 6:10 a.m. in Belgrade on 25 September 2026, a Stake.com agent used one date for two different readers. In Alberta it was 10:10 p.m. on 24 September. He then wrote that the company had nothing else to say.

The customer name on the export is Trustfacts. His first message asked whether Stake had started in Alberta, whether he would need another account, and what would happen to his affiliate link. He asked, in his spelling, whether he would have to “make a seperate account,” and whether the link would “stay the same” or whether he would “have to get a new one.”

The agent’s display name is LukaDub. He did not answer the affiliate question. He answered from an email, and he used October 6 twice.

The greeting is ordinary. He wrote: “Hey there!” He wrote: “Thank you for reaching out to us!” He wrote: “Allow me a few moments, please.” Nothing in those lines names a regulator, a licence number, or an hour on October 6.

Then the email. He wrote: “As mentioned in the email, we are launching a platform tailored specifically for players residing in Alberta, Canada, to ensure compliance with local regulations in that region.” Launching is his word for the project. The date he attaches to Alberta, a few lines later, is a different word.

The first October 6 is not for Alberta. He wrote: “If you received the email but do not reside in Alberta, please complete the Proof of Address verification by October 6th to continue using Stake.com.” He told that reader to upload documents at https://stake.com/settings/enhanced-verification and to inform support once they were submitted, “so we can review and verify your information.” The export marks the list of acceptable documents as “[App: Article Inserter],” not as a sentence.

The second October 6 is the Alberta sentence. He wrote: “If you do reside in Alberta, as also stated in the email, the platform ab.stake.ca is expected to launch on October 6th.” He wrote: “To migrate, simply register using the same email address as your Stake.com account.” He wrote: “All your VIP progress will be transferred automatically, so there is no need to start over with your VIP progress; you will be able to pick up right where you left off.”

Read those two dates as one reply. A person in Alberta is pointed at ab.stake.ca, and the verb is expected. A person who received the email and does not live in Alberta is pointed at a document upload, and the verb is complete it by October 6th “to continue using Stake.com.” Same message. Different job.

The question he did not answer

Expected is the word on the Alberta line. He did not write that ab.stake.ca was open, and he did not name a time of day. The same-email line is as close as the reply comes to the account question. It does not say the affiliate link survives. It does not say a new link is required.

The VIP sentence is a promise about status inside Stake’s own system: “no need to start over,” and the customer would “pick up right where you left off.” It is not a sentence about permission to take bets.

He also wrote the bare addresses http://stake.com/ and http://ab.stake.ca/ inside the message. Those are his links. They are not an instruction from this desk to open an account, to upload papers, or to move money.

He shut the reply himself. “Please read the full email. Apart from the information provided in the email, we do not have any additional updates at this time. However, if you require further details, you will be notified via email or another official source.” A reader who wants a start time, a cashier, or a poster does not get one. On the agent’s own terms, further details would come by email or “another official source.” The chat does not claim to be that source.

Eight minutes later, at 6:18 a.m. Belgrade time, Trustfacts asked the question the first answer had skipped: “are you able to provide me with any marketing pages or insights i can use to promote this launch on the 6th?”

At 6:20 a.m. LukaDub wrote: “I'll get back to you in a few moments.”

At 6:25 a.m. he wrote: “Kindly note that you should be able to contact your affiliate manager and they should be able to help you further regarding this matter.” No page was attached. The date was not repeated. The customer had called it a launch. The agent, above, had called Alberta expected. The transcript leaves both verbs where they were.

On 26 September, at 6:25 a.m. Belgrade time, a message under the name Ace asked Trustfacts to rate the conversation. It added no date and no correction.

Where the chat happened

The exchange was on Stake.com. It was not held on this website. The export was saved on 27 September 2026 at 10:11 a.m. Belgrade time. The turns below are that export, with the agent’s wording left as he sent it.

Alberta play is 18+. Alberta Addiction Helpline, 1-866-332-2322 (Recovery Alberta / Alberta Health Services). GameSense Alberta: gamesenseab.ca.
