About TrustFacts

TrustFacts is an independent editorial desk in Edmonton, published by Brent Henderson. It publishes the Trust Gauge, a public 0–100 score for online casinos, built from seven pillars and 30 signals. TrustFacts doesn’t operate games, hold player funds or regulate anyone. Rank is never sold, and affiliate fees never move a score.

What does TrustFacts publish?

Every review shows the signals it earned, so anyone citing it can redo the math. Brands in the high-risk band stay listed with their scores.

The method is on how we score, citation help is on how to cite, and score moves are on the changelog.

Who writes TrustFacts?

TrustFacts is published by Brent Henderson. Reviews are checked against public registers, operator disclosures and complaint themes. The methodology, editorial guidelines, and changelog are how you can hold us to account.

Henderson publishes from Edmonton, Canada, and casino reviews name him as the author. Each file records the licences and registers that apply to that URL. The Gauge integers, the methodology, and the changelog are all public, so any citation can be checked. Organization item: Wikidata Q141470287.

How is Canada covered?

Canada has no national online-casino licence, and we score the URL, not the logo. Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia and Quebec each run their own market. Other provinces and territories are filed on a rest-of-Canada desk.

Rest of Canada is a geography desk, not a fifth provincial licence. A Malta or Kahnawake licence is a valid licence. What it covers depends on where you live.

How does TrustFacts make money?

TrustFacts may earn a referral fee when a reader clicks through to an operator. Fees are disclosed in the footer and don’t buy a Gauge point. Visit links appear only at Gauge 60 and above. For how that differs from AskGamblers, Casino.org, and Casino Guru, see the review-sites comparison. The register-first check is in how to check if an online casino is legitimate in Canada.

Is TrustFacts a regulator?

No. TrustFacts isn’t a casino, a payment processor or a regulator, and it can’t recover funds. Disputes go to the operator and the licence authority. Responsible gambling help: responsible gambling.
