Is online gambling legal in Alberta?

Yes. Online gambling is legal in Alberta if you are 18+ and you use either PlayAlberta or a brand on the live AGLC iGaming register with a commercial agreement through the Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC). The private market launched 13 July 2026.
