Ontario is not ‘Canada’
Since 2022, Ontario has a private market run through iGaming Ontario under the AGCO. Operators, standards, and player tools are published. That is the highest-recourse commercial market in the country today.
Rest of Canada
Most other provinces still route legal online play through provincial crown corporations, with Alberta opening a licensed private market on a different timetable. Grey-market .coms continue to accept players. That is a legal and practical risk, not a TrustFacts endorsement.
What we do with Curaçao
A Curaçao B2C licence is real paper. It is not equivalent to iGO or UKGC on enforcement, fund segregation, or ADR. We cap the licensing category accordingly — which is why Stake can be 72 with excellent crypto payouts and still not be 90.
